SHIPPING & RETURNS
SHIPPING POLICY
Delivery by ASL to a carrier normally used by ASL (or service commissioning according to the quotation) shall constitute delivery and the Buyer shall accept risk in the Goods once the Goods are in the care of the carrier and the Buyer agrees that ASL shall not be liable for damage caused by the carrier. Delivery may also be by ASL in which case ASL shall accept risk in the Goods until possession is passed to the Buyer. The Buyer agrees that risk in the Goods shall pass to the Buyer once the Goods are delivered or Services commissioned in accordance with the quotation.
Goods that are finished items but only part of an order may be delivered in instalments at ASL's discretion and in such case each delivery will be regarded as a separate contract and any Goods delivered shall be paid by the Buyer in accordance with the terms of payment.
The Buyer agrees that any employee or agent of the Buyer who signs for delivery shall be authorised to accept delivery and ASL will not be held liable for missing goods where a signature has proven delivery. If the Buyer is not ready to accept delivery at the time that ASL is ready to supply ASL may charge stand by costs and storage costs.
ASL will make every effort to ensure delivery of Goods or Services on time but will not be liable for any loss or damage or consequential loss to the Buyer arising from delays in delivery.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
We would not accept returns on special orders or manufactured items. However if they are from our normal range of stock and the goods are still in their original wrapping and in good condition suitable for resale we would consider returns, but only within the normal Terms of Trade.
